Our workshops bring people together to learn, connect, and get inspired by the fascinating world of honeybees. Whether your goal is to educate, engage, or simply share a unique experience with your community, Alvéole workshops create lasting memories and deepen the connection to your onsite hive.
What we offer
We provide interactive, hands-on workshops tailored to your audience:
-> What's the Buzz? Information Kiosk: An Alvéole beekeeper will set up an eye-catching display with posters, tools and hive equipment to showcase the beekeeping experience. We’ll bring a table and all necessary equipment.

Location: Indoors or outdoors
Availabilities: All year long
Required setup: Allocated space
-> Meet Your Bees: A live visit to your hive with your Alvéole beekeeper. Learn how the hive works, meet the queen, taste fresh honey from the combs (when in season), and ask all your buzzing questions.
Participants: Maximum 30
Location: Outdoors at your hive
Availabilities: from early spring to the end of summer (not available during cold or rainy weather).
Required setup: at your hive, securely accessible for all participants
-> From Hive to Honey Jar: Experience the magic of spinning and bottling honey straight from the comb, and take home a jar of your own. We bring all the equipment necessary to extract and jar 30 jars of honey for your participants.
Participants: Maximum 30
Location: Indoors
Availabilities: Autumn and winter, to extract honey frames produced at the end of summer.
Required setup: Table
-> Wonders of Beeswax: Make hand-dipped beeswax candles while exploring the history of this centuries-old practice. We bring all necessary equipment, including wax, heaters, wicks, and tools.

- Availabilities: All year long
- Required setup: One or two tables at the front of the room for displaying materials and operating equipment. Ensure an electrical outlet is nearby to power wax warmers and access to water, like a sink. Seating should ideally be arranged in a theatre-style layout to provide an unobstructed view of the front tables.
-> Discover the World of Bees – Learn about the importance of pollinators, their impact on food systems, and how to create habitats to support them. Available online or in person for unlimited participants.
Participants: Unlimited (in-person or virtual)
Location: Indoors
Availabilities: All year long
Required setup: Projector with HDMI cable for presentations (optional); physical educational materials will be provided
-> Explore the World of Wild Bees: Discover the importance of wild pollinators, how they impact our food systems, and how to create habitats to support them.
Participants: Unlimited (in-person or virtual)
Location: Indoors
Availabilities: All year long
Required setup: Projector with HDMI cable for presentations (optional); physical educational materials will be provided

We'll arrive 30 minutes before the start of the workshop
Sessions typically last 60 minutes, and we can accommodate different numbers of participants depending on which workshop you book.
