What workshops does Alvéole offer?

Our workshops bring people together to learn, connect, and get inspired by the fascinating world of honeybees. Whether your goal is to educate, engage, or simply share a unique experience with your community, Alvéole workshops create lasting memories and deepen the connection to your onsite hive! 

General Logistics

• Duration: All sessions typically last 60 minutes.

• Arrival time: Your beekeeper will arrive 30 minutes before the start of the workshop to set up.

• Equipment: Alvéole provides all primary workshop materials (educational tools, honey, wax, jars, etc.).

Available Workshops

• What's the Buzz? Information Kiosk: An eye-catching display featuring posters, tools, and hive equipment to showcase the beekeeping experience.

• Meet Your Bees: A live, interactive visit to your hive. Participants learn how the hive works, meet the queen, taste fresh comb honey (when in season), and ask questions.

• From Hive to Honey Jar: Participants experience spinning and bottling honey straight from the comb, yielding 30 jars to take home.

• Wonders of Beeswax: A hands-on session making hand-dipped beeswax candles while exploring the history of this centuries-old practice.

• Discover the World of Bees: An educational deep-dive into the importance of pollinators, their impact on food systems, and how to create supportive habitats.

• Explore the World of Wild Bees: A focused session highlighting the specific importance of wild pollinators, their role in ecosystems, and habitat creation.
