Download this guideline file and open it in Adobe Illustrator.
Dimensions
- Diecut Size: 5.5 x 1.0925” Ensure your design fits within these dimensions
- Final Size with Bleed: 5.75 x 1.3425”. Extend your design by 0.125” on all sides
- Security Margin: Keep important text within 5.25 x 0.875 inches, staying 0.125 inches from the edges
Required Information
You can find the content in our label templates available in the designer tool -> Myhive -> Honey label section. Here are the required content:
- Unpasteurized Honey
- Weight (Make sure to use the metric system of your country): 130g, 100ml, 4.6 oz
- Hive city and country
- Harvested by Alvéole
- The QR code linked to your Myhive page, available in your Myhive
- Not for infants under 1 year old
Exporting Your Design
- Format: Save your label as a PNG, SVG or JPEG file.
- Save with the 0.125" bleed; the final file should measure 5.75” x 1.3425” (14.605 x 3.41 cm).

Save without all trim marks and borders
- The final exported design should look like the image below:
Submitting Your Design
- Log in to your Myhive Portal.
- Navigate to the left menu bar and select “Honey Label”.
- In the designer tool, click “Upload Logo or Design”, then upload your file in a PNG, SVG or JPEG format and fit it into the die-cut box.
- Once everything looks perfect, save the draft, then approve it on your Honey label page.
