Staying connected to your bees is the best part of the Alvéole experience, and your Alvéole account makes it simple to follow along. During the active season, our trained beekeepers typically visit your site every three weeks to care for your growing colony and share the latest buzz with your community.
Viewing Your Schedule
Here's how to see your upcoming visits on your Alvéole account:
From the homepage ("Today"), scroll down the the "Upcoming" widget.
Below the Events tiles (with photos), there is a smaller section called "Visits" - this where all upcoming visits are listed for all properties you manage.
Alternatively, you can see the visits per individual property only from the "Portfolio" tab:

From the "Portfolio" tab in the left-hand sidebar menu, you can see at-a-glance the Next Visit for each property.
To see all upcoming visits for a particular Building, click on the building's name, then scroll down to the "Upcoming visits" section, which is right below the dark brown Honey Tracker widget.
What Happens During a Visit
Your visits are carried out by a professional beekeeper who knows your specific site and local climate. They will arrive with everything needed to safely care for your bees, focusing on a few key tasks:
Checking bee health: Inspecting the colony to ensure the queen is thriving, the population is growing, and everyone is healthy and pest-free.
Managing the environment: Adding or removing frames so the bees always have the perfect amount of room to live and work comfortably.
Monitoring food stores: Keeping a close eye on their nectar and honey reserves, especially as the exciting harvest season approaches.
Inspecting BeeHomes: Checking in on any wild BeeHomes on your property to see if any local solitary bees have moved in and started nesting.
Documenting the visit: Completing a detailed inspection sheet and uploading fresh photos to your MyHive page as a new 'Buzz' update, so you can watch your colony evolve from afar.
Schedule Changes and Support
Automated notifications: If weather or unexpected events cause last-minute rescheduling, you will receive an email alert and see the update immediately on your Alvéole account. This will also be reflected for the tenants on the MyHive page.
Requesting modifications: If you need to shift a scheduled visit date or want to request an extra check-in, simply reach out to support@alveole.buzz, or reach out via Live Chat support directly from your Alvéole account.
